Pleating Service

Please add this to cart and check-out using “pick-up” as the postage option. Include a printed copy of the order or at the very least the order number (so I have your email and postal address), along with instructions for pleating.

By adding this item to your cart, agreeing to T & C and posting items for pleating you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Pleating Services

Box Velvet – $4.40 per pleated metre

Box Satin – $3.50 per pleated metre

Elizabethan Satin – $4.00 per pleated metre

Knife Velvet – $4.40 per pleated metre

Rolling pleated ribbon back onto original roll (due to time taken) 25y rolls = $3.50 per roll, 100y roll – $15 per roll

After completion of pleating, an invoice will be emailed to the email address provided with the order for payment. Pleated ribbons will not be returned until full payment has been made.

Ribbons pleat better if the ribbon is flat and smooth (as apposed to scrunched off the roll). If ribbon requires steam ironing to be pleated, there will be an additional cost to do so. Additional charges may also apply for ribbons that need to be untangled.

Some brands and colours of ribbons pleat better than others. Sending ribbons for pleating is at your own risk. If I feel that it won’t pleat well, I will cease pleating.
